They should be perfectly to the R-value, which implies to the industry standard unit of measuring the standard insular properties of material, its resistance to heat flow and transfer.

Glass wool batts

They have guaranteed R-values. They are fire safe and proven extensive research to be health safe.

Rock wool batts

They are the premium insulation product. It cannot be compressed and transport costs make it a more expensive home insulation product.

Sheep wool batts

It has limited range of R-values and different widths. It needs to be completely cleaned of all the natural sheep oils.

Polyester batts

It has limited range of R-values and different widths. The nature of the fibers makes it difficult to achieve R-value batts and blankets.

Polystyrene

It includes suspending ceiling raked ceiling and sheds.
Cellulose fiber loose fill

It is made from recycled newspapers. It has fire retardant chemicals.

Cosywrap

A special water replant grade of granulated rock wool is used for cavity wall insulation, insulation of double brick walls.
