Most residential insulation materials are primarily effective because they have low thermal conductivity of heat. some are primarily effective at blocking convection or radiation which use to work very well .Some materials, for example, foil-faced rigid panels, reduce heat transfer effectively used in more than one way .Good thermal insulating materials can be Styrofoam, aluminum foil/Mylar, fiber glass batting, and the most important fiber glass board.
